On the 22nd September 2025, Breandán would have celebrated his 30th Birthday, with a big party no doubt…

Personally, if you know me, you’ll know that I’m big into birthdays! I believe that each year is a blessing and think every birthday should be celebrated- not just the big ones.

Although Breandy won’t be here to celebrate this birthday with us, I wanted to mark the occasion in style, to remember Breandy the way he would have liked- with a drink in hand and a smile on our faces. (Whilst also raising money for a great cause)

As part of Breandys Legacy- each year I try to do something to raise money for charity, especially for those who provide help and care to those in a similar situation that we found ourselves in not that long ago, but this year especially I wanted to remember Breandy and remind people how hard he fought and that he did so with a smile on his face every day😊

On the 21st September 2025, the day before Breandán’s birthday I will (be attempting to) run the Belfast City Half Marathon- and on Friday 26th September I invite anyone and everyone to join us in the Wild Duck Inn, Portglenone to celebrate Breandy at our charity night.

There will be music by Bleed'N Cowboys and all proceeds from the night will be donated to Brainwaves NI, Young Lives vs Cancer & The KBRT.

Breandán surprised us all by coming home early from living in Australia and just three weeks later he took unwell… had things of been different we would have had to avail of the services that the Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust provide, therefore I would also like acknowledge their amazing work and make a donation to this charity as well.

Our aim is to raise £30,000 for Breandán’s 30th and we have 30 amazing prizes lined up!
