I've raised £500 to Charity Expedition to Uganda

In July 2019, I am taking part in a personal development expedition for charity to the village of Kamuronko, in Uganda. The aims of our expedition are…
- To work in a team to plan and implement a sustainable development project this rural village in south-western Uganda. We will communicate with the village Community Association to design a project that will make a difference to the quality of individual lives in the village. Our current plan is to improve the conditions of their school, ensuring that all those who attend have a safe and healthy environment in which they can learn, and work with the issues regarding period poverty amongst the women of Kamuronko. We will fundraise for this project and provide training and support for the local people to implement it. We are working with the registered charity called Project Embabazi www.projectembabazi.org.uk
-To experience and understand life in a remote village in a developing country, and to develop strategies to tackle the development gap
-To share our culture with an African tribe by living and working together
-To manage a budget to plan the team itinerary and activities
I am currently fundraising to raise money to cover both the cost of the expedition, and the community development projects with the charity Project Embabazi. Each team member needs to raise a total of £2255, by April - which is a lot of money and not a lot of time!! If you would like to contribute to my expedition, any amount - no matter how small - would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
