    Story

    We need your help

The British Judo Adaptive Team is completely self funded. In order for players to compete abroad it can cost over £1000. The cost includes transport, accommodation, entry to competition, transfers and flights. Other cost also include carers, disability classification, clothing and specialist equipment.

We would like to make this cost more affordable to the players/parents/carers as well as its a great honour to represent your country and we don't want funding to be a barrier to stop them participating.

Any find raising, sponsorship to donations would very much be appreciated

We need your help! There are two competitions upcoming for Intellectual Impairment & Adaptive judoka. Virtus Global Games – this is a replication of the Olympic Games, held in Vichy, France in June 2023. Their trip will cost in the region of £1800. There is also an opportunity for our Adaptive Athletes to travel to Sweden. Their trip will cost approx £800. British Judo Adaptive Working Group are regularly trying to raise funds to help minimise costs for players, parents and carers. Please give your support, it will be greatly appreciated.
