I've raised £1300 to donate to the Jackson County Animal Shelter in Mississippi

I'm running in the Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon at Disney World on November 3rd, 2019. This will be my fourth half marathon so far, and I'm hoping to beat my personal record of 2 hours 12 minutes 27 seconds.
This is my very first time raising money through a run (thanks Ian and Christian for the idea!). My goal is to raise $1300 (for 13.1 miles), although I'll be thrilled with any amount I can donate through this campaign! Every dollar helps!
I'm hoping it's a success and will help me continue to train hard and finish strong! The fundraiser will be open until one week after the race is complete so everyone has a chance to be a part of a great cause!
Not everyone can adopt a pet or even foster one, but donating to a local animal shelter still helps! Because it's the only animal shelter in my county, this location often hits capacity for animals and needs all the help they can get.
It takes a lot to keep a shelter like this staffed and supplied, so I would love to make a sizable donation this fall to help!
The Jackson County Animal Shelter was established in 1985 and is the only animal shelter in the county. It is located on three acres next door to the County soccer complex on Audubon Lane in Gautier, just off Highway 90. The shelter has the capacity to accommodate 154 medium sized animals (cats and dogs), and four larger animals, such as goats and horses. The shelter averages almost 250 pet adoptions a month. Unfortunately, for every animal adopted five new animals arrive at the shelter.
