    Story

Eb Appeti, the founder of The Appeti Tennis Centre needs your help to to provide tennis equipment, balls and clothing for underprivileged children in Ghana, West Africa.

British born tennis professional, Eb Appeti, will be joining forces with Tennis Foundation Ghana to expand programs benefiting Ghanaian youth.

Eb, whose father was Ghanaian, is founder of the Appeti Tennis Centre in Canterbury, UK. Appeti Tennis have been providing free and subsidized tennis instruction programs for children in Kent for many years.

Eb's father, Reg, bought Eb and his three brothers and sister up to believe that help should be given when and if needed. Reg was passionate about his home country and often sent out clothing, shoes, books and other items to help those that could not afford these things.

So, please donate any tennis equipment you may have and all items will be shipped directly to Ghana so that young children can play tennis.

At the start of the year we kicked off our fundraising campaign to help send tennis equipment to the children of Ghana. We shipped our first 2 barrels in January and a further 2 in March, although their journey faltered slightly due to Covid-19, we are pleased to announce that they were opened two weeks ago and the first group of children have received their tennis clothing and equipment. We are excited to show you how your generous donations have been used and we will post up pictures from Ghana every day this week to our Facebook page.
