    Story

Appetite for Change is a diverse bunch of volunteers with experience in social enterprise, hospitality, mental health, food waste, community building and community food. We're passionate about organising relaxed, friendly events in beautiful spaces where people can come together and socialise over food and our aim is to address social isolation, loneliness and food poverty.

The Festive Feast is our annual Christmas Day get together for families in Edinburgh who are facing a range of life challenges. For the third year running, we're inviting around 80 people to join us for Christmas Dinner in a lovely city centre bistro - all cooked by an award winning chef and a team of community food geniuses. We'd like to gift each family with a £20 supermarket voucher so they can buy some extra treats over the holidays and money raised on this page will pay for the vouchers.

We've reached our target! Thanks to everyone who donated. This money will be spent on buying supermarket vouchers for our guests. The plan is to give each family a £20 voucher so if we raise more than we hoped for we'll give the bigger families a bigger voucher! Keep an eye on Facebook for updates and photos of the event!
