I've raised £500 to help buy a barn for Eden Sanctuary

Eden Sanctuary is a wonderful multi-species vegan sanctuary in Mallorca, Spain. The sanctuary is currently home to 2 sheep, 3 pigs, 2 donkeys, 2 chickens, 2 rabbits, 4 cats and a dog. All the animals have their own stories, but the thing they have in common is that they needed a safe forever home, and Eden Sanctuary was able to provide it.
I have had the pleasure of visiting and staying at the sanctuary a number of times and have formed bonds with the animals and a special friendship with Nicole Eden (who runs the sanctuary alongside her day job as an English tutor). I can sincerely say that this is a sanctuary for all species, including people. Working with and for the animals in beautiful surroundings with beautiful people has given me a haven away from the London grind, and it was needed!
The sanctuary is funded by donations and although Nicole works tirelessly to raise money however possible, it is tough. Often animals are in a very poor state when they come to the sanctuary, and vet bills are expensive. Everything at the shelter has been funded and built by volunteers.
I have everything I need, and more. So this year for Christmas, I am asking friends and family to use any money they would have used on gifts or a card for me to help buy a barn for the sanctuary. The Mallorcan summers are brutal and as the animal population at the sanctuary grows, more shelter is urgently needed. The type and size of shelter we can sponsor will depend on the amount raised, so please give what you can!
I will be matching all donations up to £500 (approx. $640 or €560). If you want to know more about the sanctuary, you can visit their website (www.edensanctuary.org) or just send me a message. Thank you!!!!
