As a family we have decided to set up this JustGiving Page for our family friend and my Godfather, Steven Hunter.

Steve’s story:

Steve has ran his much loved business in Whitley Bay for 23 years and is known to many as ‘The Good Barber’. Due to a very recent and devastating diagnosis of terminal cancer, Steve has had to sadly close his business permanently. We’re sure many people know how difficult this is for Steve as he has worked so hard, for so many years, to make his shop what it is and build the relationships and friendships with his loyal customers.

Steve is a great friend to many and is clearly a very loved man, given all of the support he has received since announcing this devastating news.

All funds raised through this page will go directly to Steve, in the hope that it will relieve any financial stress and fund any opportunities for new memories to be made.

Steve’s funeral plan provider went ‘bust’, which meant all of the money he paid into his plan was lost.
