I am Arabella - 18 year old volunteer with East Devon RDA. I have a love for horses, the outdoors and walking having completed 35 and 45 miles Ten Tors and going to embark on a 50km walk along the coastal path from Lyme Regis to Exmouth to raise funds for the East Devon Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA) on Sunday 21st of June 2026.

Since September, I have volunteered with East Devon RDA, and during this time, I have seen the incredible opportunities it offers to its service users. The progress, confidence, and joy displayed by the riders is inspiring.

East Devon RDA helps build physical and emotional wellbeing. It allows the riders to express themselves while improving communication, speech, mobility, coordination, and overall self-esteem. The experience of being able to ride a horse helps riders find their voice, build independence, and feel a sense of achievement. It is lovely to see how the horse has such a powerful impact on the service user.

I want to be able to raise funds for them to use towards enhancing the service users experience and will be greatly appreciated.
