I've raised £1000 to fund an archaeological dig and the activities and events surrounding it

In November 2018 an archaeological dig took place at Aden Country Park in Mintlaw. The dig revealed that the site is an enclosed structure potentially dating back to the Neolithic period, possibly 5500 years old. This exciting discovery means that a further excavation will take place from 24 June to 7 July 2019 to uncover more of the history and to confirm the layout of the site.
Finding a Neolithic site is extremely rare, particularly in the local area. Therefore, we are crowdfunding to fund this dig and the associated activities. The funds we raise will go towards supporting the fieldwork as well as holding various activities at the open days which are on the 30th of June and the 6th of July. These open days will inspire young archaeologists and educate people on the history of their local community.
