    Story

Archie is a very happy, bubbly and sociable young man, he has a lively and infectious personality and is always full of smiles and very happy to spend time with family and friends.
Archie is 11 years of age, born at term with no concerns raised regarding to his health or cognitive development. However, as Archie’s first birthday approached, it became apparent that Archie was not developing the cognitive and physical abilities appropriate for his age and ultimately not meeting the ‘required’ and appropriate milestones for his peer-group age. Archie was later diagnosed with Angelman’s syndrome, a genetic disorder that effects the nervous system causing severe learning and physical disability.
Archie is developmentally delayed in the areas of learning, communication, social interaction, motor coordination and self-care, of which he needs the constant help and support of his loving and supportive family, friends and all persons that come into contact with Archie.

Archie's dad and 14 of his mates will be participating in 'The Hathersage Bronze Challenge: 50km Walk' on the 23rd of September 2017. This challenge must be completed within 12 hours, this being no easy task, even for the most fittest of people!

Please help us raise the funds needed that will enable us to buy the mobility chair that will give Archie the opportunity to participate and enjoy more of the outdoors and outdoor activities within his home and school life and with all his friends and family.
