Story

Whilst undergoing treatment at Great Ormond Street, Archie made friends with a number of other children fighting neuroblastoma.

Two of them are still fighting this dreadful disease. Eden and Siobhan’s families are raising vital funds to help them access treatment not available on the NHS in the UK.

In memory of Archie we are asking for donations to support Eden and Siobhan.

Eden was diagnosed with neuroblastoma on 6th July 2017. Since then she has had induction chemotherapy, a stem cell transplant, high-dose chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and is currently undergoing a course of immunotherapy. All this is the frontline treatment the NHS provide for this cancer, but her journey is not over. This aggressive cancer has an 80% chance of coming back, so her family are fundraising £200,000 so they can take Eden to the US to have new, potentially life saving treatment.

Siobhan has been on a long journey in the last year fighting Stage 4 High Risk Neuroblastoma and managed to get into remission and start her first cycle of immunotherapy in April. Unfortunately following the first immunotherapy treatment Siobhan relapsed. In order to get Siobhan ready for a vaccine she needs, which is only available in America, she will need to undergo further chemotherapy and get back into remission. She will then need to re-commence immunotherapy, which may not be available on the NHS as Siobhan is now outside the clinical trial criteria to be eligible for immunotherapy. Her family are therefore hoping to raise £400,000 to cover the potential costs of the immunotherapy and to get Siobhan to the US for treatment.

All donations made in Archie’s memory will be divided equally to support these two wonderful girls access the treatment they so deperately need.

Thank you to everyone for all your love and support over the last 10 months.
