Story

As many of you will know my grandson James is on the autism spectrum. Despite autism’s increased visibility it sadly doesn’t attract much mainstream charity giving. On Sunday 16th June, his dad and I will be entering Tough Mudder 2019. This is a 10-12 mile obstacle course designed to test all-round strength, stamina and mental grit. Craig has done this already but it's a new experience for me…I'm excited but slightly terrified too!

We’ve decided that we’d like to raise some money for ARCH Autism Carers Group. This organisation works with numerous autism partners in the community to help them design, deliver and promote autism-friendly services which will support the needs of those affected by autism within their own communities. Raising all children can be stressful but there’s an extra dimension to this with when autism is involved. ARCH provides an important and very real lifeline to many people. They receive very little funding and are reliant on a core team of volunteers. Craig and I would like to help them by raising any donations that we can to provide them with funding to continue their support and advocacy work.

We would greatly appreciate any donations.

Thank you!
