Story
On Wednesday 22 May, our historic working narrow boat, our home and our livelyhood, caught fire.
Although it was caught and dealt with quickly, Ariel's back cabin was totally gutted, and all of the belongings therein have been lost.
Aside from the sentimental things like crochet blankets and lace work, the business equipment like the laptop and card machine, and Ariel's own things like chimney chains and her klaxon; the very basic essentials of clothes, food and toiletries were destroyed.
Tommy Dog's lead, food, bed and all his toys (including some faithfuls you'll all have had shoved in your ear at times) were also lost.
What remains is what was being worn.
While we wait for the insurance, we'd like to get the basics essentials- a change of clothes etc- so we can crack on getting Ariel and us back into work.
