I'm raising £750 to support Art Pop-Up's Creativity for Wellbeing programme

Story

• Make a donation, receive an artwork from the exhibition.

As one participant told us: ‘You’ve saved me.’

Every month, up to 300 local people take part in free activities with Art Pop-Up. We are a non-profit social enterprise of artists and changemakers. Outreach and wellbeing are at the heart of what we do because creativity can be a lifeline: the difference between coping and not coping. The reason to leave the house, a safe place where they are welcomed and a community that holds them.

Each week we welcome people who are isolated, struggling, living with disabilities or facing barriers that make it hard to take part in everyday community life. There is no pressure to be ‘good’ at art. You can turn up exactly as you are and be welcomed, included and supported.

Our programmes are largely funded through grants and donations but at present we have raised only a quarter of what we need to keep our free work running from April 2026.

Thank you gift: As a thank you, every donation comes with an abstract self-portrait from the exhibition. Larger donations will receive one  of the abstract portrait works contributed by our Associate Artists or other professional creative, subject to availability. Artworks can be collected between 9am and midday on Monday 26/1 or email to make other arrangements. If you would like a particular work or a paper lantern, email community@artpopup.co.uk after donating to discuss.

If you can give today, your donation helps keep the doors open and the kettle on. If you cannot, sharing this page is a huge help too.

Please help.
