Story

I’ve known this wonderful old lady (she prefers her name is kept anonymous) for three years now, a syrian refugee who’s been forced to move to Egypt with her family. She has seen all kinds of horrors.

Among her troubles is that last year her son was thrown out of Egypt for illegal settlement. Every time I talk to this old lady I sense her unbearable sadness over her son and her desperation for anyone to help her bring him back to him. If you are mother, you can only imagine what it means to be living in constant fear for your children’s lives, especially if they are so far away from you.

So I decided to take action and bring the smile back to this woman’s face, and I want you to join me on the journey of bringing her son back into her arms.

The money will go towards giving her sufficient funds to hire a lawyer, who will then argue her case and bring her son back to her in Egypt. It is with almost with a 100% certainty that this case will be won after this money is raised. £2800 is needed, which i will personally hand over to her in Egypt as I constantly travel back and forth between the UK and Egypt.

I’ll end with this quote as a reminder to my muslim (and non-muslim) friends:

The Prophet peace be upon him said “If anyone fulfills his brother's needs, Allah will fulfill his needs; if one relieves a Muslim of his troubles, Allah will relieve his troubles on the Day of Resurrection
