Due to recent personal circumstances, Ash has had to cancel his plans to return to London, and travel back to Sri Lanka unexpectedly. The political situation there means that many jobs have been cut, while the cost of living has increased rapidly. Ash had spent the last of his personal savings on a flight back to the UK, only to be turned away at the border.
