I've raised £2200 to help pay for Asha's cruciate ligament surgery.

Asha is our 5 year old RottieXStaffie rescue dog. She's our world & despite a bad start to life she has blossomed into a happy friendly dog who loves everyone she meets. She has ruptured her cruciate ligament and just had essential surgery. Please read on to discover more about Asha & us and why we really need you help.
Asha was born in 2014 in a rescue home, rehomed as a puppy but at some point returned to a shelter. She was then adopted by a woman who soon after changed jobs & worked 12 hour shifts with an hour commute each way. Asha was left in a dog crate for at least 14 hours a day. We also suspect she has been hit in the past. The woman eventually left her at a shelter just before Xmas 2015. Then in Jan 2016, we came along. She was bundle of uncontrolled energy, literally bouncing off the walls! Over time with patience, discipline & lots of love she has turned into a (mostly!) well behaved & fantastic family pet.
When we rehomed Asha my partner, Matt was in full time work & I was job hunting after coming out of self-employment. We insured Asha against illness & injury. Then shortly after Matt was diagnosed with a heart condition & not allowed to work. Being a self-employed Fish Filleter & with me still unable to find work we only had ESA to live on. We cut all non-essential bills & this included Asha's insurance. Not long after this Asha partially ruptured her cruciate ligament. Despite rest, the ligament totally ruptured & surgery was necessary.
We are now both back in work but only part-time so we really need help to afford her surgery. Please help if you possibly can. Thank you ❤
