I've raised £2000000 to Rebuild Barbuda.

Hurricane Irma swept through the tiny beautiful island of Barbuda wreaking destruction upon the lives of the inhabitants and blowing aside 95% of the homes and all of the power and communications infrastructure. Nearly all of the islands homes have been destroyed and those which were not destroyed have suffered significant damage. The school, Police station and hospital all suffered major damage too.
Prime Minister has said that rebuilding efforts are likely to cost $150 Million am hoping that you will you be able donate to help us to rebuild our beautiful island. All donations are welcome large or small. It all adds up.The money will go directly to Barbudans so they can get their homes and lives back on track.
I intend to use the funds raised to buy Cement, Breeze Blocks (Bricks), roofing materials and other general building materials and tools. Some of the funds raised will go towards clothing such as Safety boots and other PPE (Personal Protective Equipment). I hope that with the necessary materials, tools and clothing the residents of Barbuda will be able to commence rebuilding their homes and island as soon as possible.
Barbuda is an island of 62 square miles with a population of less than 2000 people. It is at highest 150 feet above sea level and is therefore a very flat island making it extremely susceptible to hurricane winds and flooding.
I hope that you will be able to visit Barbuda for yourself one day and enjoy its peaceful nature and tranquil beauty.
The rebuilding starts here. It starts today. Thank you in advance for your well wishes and monetary support.
