Story
On Tuesday 18th of June, 5 Ashfield firefighters will take on the challenge of the Yorkshire 3 peaks.
The Yorkshire Three Peaks route is 24 miles (38.6km), and includes 1585m (5200ft) of ascent. We are aiming for a time of less than 10 hours.
The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge includes:
Pen-y-Ghent (694 metres)
Whernside (736 metres)
Ingleborough (723 metres)
All money raised will be split between Cancer Reseach/Firefighters Charity & Friends of SSSC for the sensory equipment.
