Please help my dad just 45 years young who has mitral valve moderate regurgitation but only 6 months ago it was mild.... The only effective treatment is surgery, to either repair the mitral valve or replace it with an artificial valve.
My dad is the best Grandad, dad, Husband (27yrs) and friend anyone could wish for and he would hate to think that people are raising money for him TO LIVE.... as the NHS has 3 scales Mild... Moderate and Severe!! And Dad is Currently at Moderate but just 6 months ago before he gave me away at my wedding whilst holding my Autistic Little boy who just wanted his Gaga made me soooooo proud as I Love my dad so much but it broke my heart in a lovely way that Logan didn't want Nana and run out of the Venue in search of his Gaga. Who them picked him up and they both gave me away......
My dad lost his dad at 50 then his Mammy and then his big Sister at 46 so PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE Help me not to lose my dad and especially Logan's Gaga as he is his world and vice versa.
The NHS have said they won't do anything until he's beyond severe and my dad has worked as a British Airways Engineer since he was 16 so has always worked hard and my mum is a nurse caring for everyone apart from herself.
Logan Gaga's Grandson is Serverly Autistic and doesn't understand when a 45 yr old can't chase him with the football because he is short of breath and has constant chest pain.......
Please help me and Logan get my dad back and also his Gaga who he Honesty couldn't live without.
Our aim is to go private and have a synthetic valve inserted and the cost of this us beyond all of us at £20-£25,000
