Story
I am running the St Albans Half Marathon to give back to the hospital unit that helped save my life. In December 2000 I came into the world 9 weeks earlier than expected, weighing 3.2 pounds -my dad always says small enough to fit in a pint glass. Thank you to the tireless care of neonatal nurses and doctors, 2 blood transfusions and spending my first month in an incubator, my family were able to take a healthy baby home.
Premature birth can be frightening, uncertain, and isolating – but no one should have to go through it alone. The money raised here will go directly to The East & North Hertfordshire Hospital Charity's neonatal unit, helping provide life-saving equipment, emotional support for families, and funding for vital care.

Every donation, no matter the size, is a step towards helping another tiny fighter like me.
Please help me give premature babies the best possible start in life.
Thank you so much for your support. ❤️
