I've raised £500 to help pay for vet bills for cruciate ligament surgery

Our 9year old lurcherX, Grace, has snapped her cruciate ligament in her knee and possibly damaged her hip in the process and is in need of urgent surgery. Without the surgery Gracie's quality of life is poor, she finds it hard to get up out of her bed and is in constant pain, she can't even be walked.
The vet has advised us the surgery could cost £1200 and with only 1 income, a toddler and a new baby due in 4weeks this is unaffordable for us. We would never expect the full cost of the surgery covered but are unfortunately in need of a helping hand. I am a full time mum and my husband is self employed so we don't always know where the next pay cheque is coming from. We have also been advised the longer we wait to operate the more likely the same will happen in her other leg.
We rescued Gracie 6 years ago when she was 3years old and she had quite a rough start in life, we've always given her the best life we can and don't want her last few years to be as grim as her first few, she's an older girl and deserves to live the rest of her days in comfort.
Anyone who has a pet will understand she isn't just a dog but a member of our family and any small donation would be hugely appreciated. Thank you for taking the time to read our story.
