Rainbow Playschool is a creche in Knysna, South Africa aimed at the minimum wage earners of our community.

We have been open for 4 years now and have grown our numbers greatly.

We currently have 50 small children under the age of 6 in our care.

On this short space of time we have had to move premises numerous times due to the owners of the houses selling them. This puts the school under severe constraints as we have to move premises, pay to have that property zoned with the municipality.

The school does not receive any form of income from the government and relies on the fees paid by the parents.

Our parents want the best for their children, they want them to be safe and receive the best education we can provide them.

What we would like is to be able to purchase a property so that we do not have to move again, that way we can be able to expand and be able to help more children from the underprivileged community.

Our best interests are in the ongoing viability of the school so that we can provide a safe, stable environment for these children to lay solid foundations for their lives.
