    Story

We are Centre Stage, a central London based theatre company that has been entertaining audiences with musicals and cabarets for 50 years! We're a sociable bunch and many people have met life-long friends - and quite a few partners - in our shows.

We put on at least two major musical theatre productions a year, at The Bridewell Theatre just off Fleet Street. We also produce a number of smaller cabarets, and hold private masterclasses for our members. And of course, we are famed for our fabulous socials! We're currently in the search for a permanent home to rehearse in, having recently lost our space in Chancery Lane due to the development of flats, but as always, the shows must go on!

Our members range in age from their 20s to their 60s and come from all walks of life - current members include teachers, lawyers, bankers, directors, web designers, nannies, librarians, managers, event organisers and retirees! But we all share one thing: a passion for musical theatre.

All our productions are open to everyone, although you must be a member to audition. Membership costs just £15 annually and entitles you to a host of benefits including a monthly members’ newsletter, the opportunity to purchase show tickets in advance of general sale, invitations to masterclasses and socials, members’ special offers and the right to vote at our AGM.

You can join at any time by sending an email to our Membership Manager at: membership@centrestage.london. Read the FAQ for full details.

Recent productions include Fame, Pirates of Penzance, Left of Centre Stage, 9 to 5, Ragtime, EVITA, RENT, Centre Stage Unplugged, the London amateur premier of GHOST - The Musical, Revueing the Situation, The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas and Jesus Christ Superstar.
