On 2nd April 2024 at approximately 1330 Hours Parmjeet Kaur went to Metrobank, Unit 8 Hayes Bridge Retail Park, Southall, UB40RH to take out some gold items from the Bank Vault. The Bank is all glass and she is asked to take her safety deposit box into the public area to go into a private room. She may have been targeted from inside or outside the bank.

She took out some rings, bangles, earings, chains etc all 22 ct gold over £20,0000 worth of gold in weight and placed it in her handbag. She exited the Metrobank at approximately 1350 Hours and to the car park and put her handbag on her car seat and locked her car doors. A man knocked on her car door and asked her if she had dropped some money. The man had placed £50.00 in ten pound notes on the floor. Paramajit opened her car door and said it was not her money. The mans accomplice on the passenger side of the car opened the car door and stole her handbag.

Two Metrobank staff Heena and Jass saw this robbery and ran after them but they had a van waiting and jumped in the van and got away

Paramjit was in total shock and was very upset and crying. The police were called and a report taken. Paramjit went unconscious and an ambulance was called. This has affected Paramjit a great deal causing her a lot of worry, stress and anxiety. Being robbed is distressing and valuable items being stolen affects people.

The gold was sentimental and some of it was her mother in laws gold who had passed away in 2017. None of it was insured.

There are a lot of robberies at this Metrobank and Southall area and she sadly is a victim of crime and this is a distressing robbery will take her years to recover from. If anyone can donate and help it would be appreciated.
