Story
I've been following the recent story of a young lad by the name of Ashton Hulme who was recently diagnosed with osteosarcoma, a rare type of bone cancer in his fibula bone in his calf. Ashton has recently received some news last week that he needed a large operation and I’ve decided that it was about time i stopped reading and started contributing. Or at least trying to contribute and use my network of friends and family to support me and ultimately support Ashton in his recovery.
The story has made me realise more than ever what we take for granted. Ashton and his Mum must be super strong, having 2 x children myself including a 12-year-old son that also enjoys to plays football amongst other sports then it is heart-breaking to read Ashton story.
However, it doesn't all need to be a sad story and we need to generate as much positivity as we possibly can. If we can raise enough funds, then this will contribute to Ashton having a better and brighter future with the ability to have the best medical support now and in the future.
