Story

We successfully setup Ashworth Public School over 3 years ago with the purpose of providing an excellent education to destitute children. Now that the school is up and running, the staff and volunteers have been able to start another project, aptly named Ashworth Inspiring Minds, which is located close to the slums in Dehradun, India.

This sub-school has already been opened and is in session but we need some help in setting it up in accordance to classroom standards. The children are currently sitting on rugs on the floor which is not the best setup for continued concentration for best learning practices.

All funds raised and proceeds will go towards desks, chairs, notebooks, textbooks and stationary for the classrooms at Ashworth Inspiring Minds.

Please join us or sponsor our volunteers who will be completing The Long Walk in Windsor, Berkshire on 1pm Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd June 2019.

The Long Walk runs south from Windsor Castle to the 1829 Copper Horse statue of King George III atop Snow Hill where there are impressive views of the castle. It is 2.65 miles (4.26 km) from George IV Gateway at Windsor Castle to The Copper Horse. (We will be walking to the statue and all the way back to the entrance so over 5 miles in total).

Any donations or help spreading the word for a worthy cause would be greatly appreciated. Please feel free to join us at 5pm for drinks at The Fox and Hounds pub afterwards! :)
