Story

I would like to raise funds for a South African based non-profit organisation ASIBANAKEKELE which means ‘Lets care for them’. I am passionate about supporting this group of three ladies who are unemployed and are from an informal settlement Mount Moriah located in the north of Durban.

These three ladies inspired me because of their passion for helping those who are in-need and they run a weekly soup kitchen. They are unemployed and rely on their own grants and sponsors to feed other fellow community members. Currently they are feeding approximately 30 children once a week.

Their ambition is to have this running consistently every week and their biggest challenge at the moment is that there is more people who show up every week and they sometimes cannot feed all of them. Some weeks they do not have enough money to be able to buy food to cook.

With the money that will be raised it will go towards:
Food
Buying a bigger gas cylinder
Buying equipment such as tables and chairs for food preparation

I hope that you will be able to join me in funding this initiative aimed at improving the lives of children from a disadvantaged community. Your donation will go a long way. Thank you
