Provide activities for young people with diabetes and through this I hope to provide education for them and their families on nutrition, blood glucose measuring, how to deal with hypoglycemia and hyperglycemia. I would also like to establish an organisation to educate and provide educational material to industry as I see there is a need for this where employers are not aware of diabetes. Unfortunately I have experienced this personally where I was having a hypoglycemic attack and the supervisor at work thought I was drunk an requested me to leave which lead to me being involved in a road traffic accident, my experience is probably one of many and I feel a strong urge to change this so please assist me raise these funds and provide the fun for the kids and the education everyone around them requires to give them a positive and normal as possible life ahead.
