Weʼre raising £1,500 to help our partner school in Nepal and fund a once in a lifetime opportunity for some Nepalese students to visit the UK
- Besisahar, Nepal
Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
In October 2018, Jack Paulson and I had the amazing opportunity to go on an expedition to Nepal where we shared numerous experiences with our Nepalese buddies ranging from teaching students to redecorating schoolrooms to trekking in the Himalayas. Our Nepalese friends played an immense part in what were the best two weeks of our life - and for that we owe them a great deal.
This May, we are going to be running the Southampton Marathon and we would hugely appreciate your sponsorship.
The proceeds will go to two causes: Firstly, our partner school, Janabikas Chandi, to help them gradually move towards being an English medium school, to provide their aspiring students with brighter futures. Secondly, to fund trips for the students to visit the UK and have a life changing experience, similar to the one we were fortunate enough to have in Nepal.
Thank you very much for any generous donations, we are really grateful and i'm sure so are our Nepalese friends and partner schooll!
