Story

A group of 15 or so village cricketers from Aldbrough St John are walking the Yorkshire 3 Peaks to raise funds for the Motor Neurone Disease Association and the village cricket club they love.

Motor Neurone Disease (MND) is tragic and debilitating condition. We live in hope of finding a cure and supporting ways to minimise its effects. https://www.mndassociation.org/

Just £15 a month for one year could supply 18 people diagnosed with MND with information packs and £25 for 12 months could fund laboratory equipment for six days' vital research into understanding the causes of MND.

3 peaks, 24 miles, 12 hours - targetting £4,000, with funds split 50:50.

Recently, we climbed Sca Fell Pike, raising over £1,800 for the Great North Air Ambulance and £1,500 for Aldbrough St John Cricket Club.
