I've raised £2000 to A Splendid Day Out Steampunk Festival

A Splendid Day Out (ASDO) is a not-for-profit Steampunk Festival organised in the small seaside town of Morecambe. First planned in 2014 it has grown from humble beginnings to be a real asset to the town with a footfall of nearly 13,000 people in 2017. A Highly anticipated event of huge benefit to the town and steampunk, it brings in people from all over the world to this small seaside town.
Plans are afoot for a spectacular event next year, but unfortunately the Town Council saw fit to withdraw funding for 2018. This of course is a huge disappointment for us, but we are moving on and hoping to provide a great event - but this time need some help. To provide all the physical infrastructure , Marquees, railings, stages and publicly accessible attractions that made everything so successful this year, we need to achieve a baseline of £10,000 the amount the Town Council provided to enable the event to embrace as many local people as possible, this is still our aim.
It is import to know that ASDO was never just a steampunk event, it was much, much more. It was a device to assist in the regeneration of Morecambe and help the town rediscover the silliness and magnificence of its Victorian Seaside past.
We are now embarking on various ideas to make our aspiration for the festival live up to the reputation it has earned over the past 3-4 years and we hope you can help.
We are turning to you, our community; both steampunk and non steampunk, to enable us to push the festival forward for next and future years to get it to where we, and from your feedback you, would like it to be. We have therefore set up the "Just Giving" project and ask you to support us. You can give as much or little as you are able to do - everything helps.
So please become an ASDO supporter and help make it the best festival you have ever been to.
