Hi this is Bethanie ,she was diagnosed with Autism at 15 and a learning disability at 17.she struggles with communication and social skills she finds it very difficult to be in social environments but she isn't sitting on her bum doing nothing she is running tombola stalls at local fates and fairs and has done amazingly well(she has support to achieve this ) but its slow going so I thought I would try to give her a boost.

Bethanie completed 3 years at college with support and gained a diploma in animal management, since leaving college her mental health has spiralled into psychosis and needs regular treatment.

speaking with her health team it has come to our attention that an assistance dog would enrich her life massively, but unfortunately Bethanie doesn't meet the criteria for the charities that provide this type of need and as always its not a cheap item ,which leads me to set up this page to help raise funds.

By Bethanie having an assistance dog it would be specifically trained to pick up on her moods when she is feeling down and distract her .It will also be her companion so she will have the confidence to socialize and travel and generally live a normal life that we all take so much for granted.

if anyone can help even a small amount it will be very much needed we are happy to do updates etc. and once we have raised enough for one dog any extra will be donated to other people wanting the same help.
