Story
Assist is a registered charity based in Withington Methodist Church which has been running successfully since 1969, supporting older people in our local community of Withington and including parts of Fallowfield and Didsbury.
Many people are living longer and friends and relatives many not be close by.
Our main focus is reducing social isolation and loneliness among older people. This may involve some practical help but more importantly, we provide a welcoming place to visit and a friendly voice at the end of the phone.
We are fundraising for this charity as it is an amazing cause that we all believe in! Please donate what you can.
