Story

Cyclone Idai has killed thousands and left hundreds of thousands of people homeless in Mozambique.

Associação Iqra is a welfare association registered by the government of Mozambique for the poor and destitute. Iqra School a non-profitable charity is under the umbrella of the association. The school has approximately 1000 students ranging from preschool to year 12. Orphans and underprivileged children attend the school free of charge. We have also enrolled other students whose parents and relatives can afford to contribute towards the monthly running expenses and maintenance of the school. The damages due to the cyclone have left the children without a roof over them in classrooms. The estimated cost for the repair of the damages is 1.5million MZN (US$22,000). The umbrella body of the school, Associação Iqra, appeals to you for donations to repair the distruction.
