Astar School of Traditional Music provides young people and adults free tuition and opportunities with Music. This year, the Youth Ceilidh Band members of Astar want to learn and immerse themselves in the Gaelic Community of South Uist and attend Ceolas Summer Music School. The week long festival gives the best tuition in pipes, fiddle, gaelic and step dance in the country and attracts people from around the world. This opportunity will be highly benefical to the musical progress of Astar Youth Band members and each individuals skills. We are needing this sum of money to make the Trip possible for 13 young people.
