    Story

Welcome to Aston University's first ever Pro Bono Group!

We are currently raising money for our society and for the Aston Law Clinic as well as other pro bono charities.

Pro bono - literally meaning 'for the public good' in Latin - exists in the legal system to promote free, high-quality legal advice to those who would not otherwise be able to access it.

Aston Pro Bono Group – now in its 2nd year of operation – exists to promote pro bono in law in every facet, helping to uphold the rule of law by promoting the belief that everybody deserves access to justice. As a society, we hope to provide our members with regular updates in pro bono news; promoting pro bono projects, internship, and placement opportunities, as well as fundraising initiatives for Aston students to get involved!
