Story

Asylum Seekers Education Project

Asylum Seekers are often stuck in limbo, as they are not entitled to work and progress in their lives. Everyone deserves the right to education and to a better life.

Thankfully through campaigns, things are starting to change and now Asylum Seekers are able to enrol on college courses, great news... However, the never ending struggle for Asylum Seekers is still very much real.

After many Asylum Seekers reaching out in distress, as they are enrolled into college but unable to obtain support for their bus fares, equipment, study materials and for many their registration fees, we have decided to set up this Asylum Seekers Education Project to raise much need funds.

The battle doesn't end there, whilst we are reaching out for generous donations, we are also speaking to colleges to review their education policy.

Thank you for your support, so we can continue supporting Asylum Seekers for Education.

This is a joint fundraising project with Swansea Trauma Support and Gulnar Daredia.
