Story

In October Half Term a team of 10 girls including myself from Tudor Hall are going to Bolton as part of 'Tudor in four continents' to help the young people and volunteer our time to give back to the community, with the schools motto in mind 'habeo ut dem' Meaning 'I have that I may give' I would be so grateful if you could donate to Bolton lads and girls club here are some ways in which the money donated will help.

£60.00 – Will allow our staff to distribute free meals to children who may not otherwise have a hot meal all day. Your £60 will provide 50 meals for hungry mouths. Just £1.00 a day can help us feed a Young Person, meaning a mere £7.00 a week can provide food for one Young Person for a week.

£95.00 – Will give one of our deaf children the opportunity to take part in a residential trip where they will face new, exciting and developmental challenges.

£150.00 – Will Support one of our monthly Mentoring Team activities, which help both our Mentors and Mentees interact with one another.

£290.00 – Will help towards the cost of accrediting the work of youngsters who attend the Academy’s entrepreneurial and educational activities.

£395.00 – Will help towards the cost of the sporting apparatus needed to deliver over 25 different sports activities to thousands of youngsters each year.

£1000.00 – Will support a mentor/mentee relationship for one year providing vital support for a young person who needs it the most.
