Community Arts Network cic is a not for profit Community Interest Company that has been providing inclusive children services in North Devon for 23 years.

We are looking to raise the funds to purchase and renovate an old grade two listed school building in Bideford Devon. Our aim is to establish this as a Children nursery and Play Centre catering for children of all abilities.

Over the 23 years that C.A.N has been in operation we have established a youth group for young people with additional need, A short break scheme, providing one to one support to children on adventures whilst giving parents a short respite from their caring duties. As an extension to the Short Break Scheme and Youth Club we organise monthly group outings to local attractions, giving the children and young people that attend to enjoy a social outing with their peers. We also run 4 After School clubs, two Breakfast clubs and two Holiday schemes. all of clubs and schemes are positive about welcoming children with additional needs and see this as a valuable learning for all children to learn about each other and abilities.

Many of the facilities that we currently run will be housed in the new building, but also give us the opportunity to further expand and develop our services to children and young people in the North Devon area.

Community Arts Network cic receives no funding and all services are run and maintained through our own income generation.
