Story

We are a group of dedicated local residents who have come together to form a Community Interest Company (CIC), united by a shared goal to improve and preserve community assets, in particular our beloved public loos, in the rural villages of Ugborough and Bittaford.

Our CIC was established with the purpose of maintaining and enhancing the local facilities for the benefit of both current and future generations of residents and visitors. We all believe it is an important public service at risk of being lost.

Our team consists of passionate individuals with diverse backgrounds, including community leaders (Parish and District Councillors), business owners, and community volunteers, all of whom bring valuable skills to the project.

We are committed to ensuring that the public spaces in our villages are accessible, well-maintained, and used to foster community engagement and inclusivity.

As a CIC, we operate with a clear focus on community benefit, reinvesting any surplus back into the community to support further projects and initiatives. Our ethos is rooted in collaboration, consultation, and sustainability, ensuring that all voices within the community are heard and that the development of these assets meets the needs of everyone.
