What is crowdfunding?

Story
For a number of years the residents of Aubrey and Milton road have been speaking with local authorities in an attempt to increase security of our local area, through the installation of CCTV. Today the council agreed to install and maintain CCTV, if we the community could raise £2500 towards it.
