We are fundraising to get the doors open on a brand new cancer support centre. Our local facility is mainly used by those recently diagnosed up to the first 2 years. After this initial use, they sometimes feel that they are not poorly enough to use the support services on offer, i.e. they want to give way to others. In order to continue this help, therapies, activities, exercise & talks, we need to open this very much needed new facility. Meeting others who have gone through treatment over a wide year range can be very reassuring and supportive. Setting up with a retail area included, we plan to be self funding within 2 years.
