    What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered nonprofit.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

Besides being a huge environmental disaster, there have been 79 confirmed casualties and the number is expected to rise, hundreds have been injured and lost their houses and belongings. Help has been sent from around the world but the fires are still not under control. They’re the worst ones for over a decade and the government has declared a state of emergency and ordered 3 days of mourning. Viasat World, the company I work for, has kindly offered to match the amount raised so even the smallest donation will help!
