Story
Llywelyn Williams was an integral part of Aberystwyth University Mens Rugby Union since joining in 2011.
On the field he was a big ball carrier, good in the scrum and a workhorse playing for the 1st team for the best part of three years. In his third year he was voted by his teammates onto the committee as Welsh language officer and helped myself and many others to pronounce and string together sentences in Welsh, aswell as translating long posts and emails to try to recruit new players and inform people of the goings on within AUMR.
Off the field he was, without doubt, one of the nicest people I have ever met, wouldn't hurt a fly and always had something nice to say. Every time I saw him, he was smiling, probably because Wales won the 6 nations every year we were at university.
You will be missed.
This page has been set up for current and former members of AUMR to contribute in raising money for a gift for the family of Llywelyn to pay our respects to a great teammate and friend. The remaining funds will go to a chairty of the family's choice.
Even if you are not a member of AUMR, please feel free to contribute.
