Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
Autism is much more common than many people think. There are around 700,000 people on the autism spectrum in the UK – that's more than 1 in 1001. If you include their families, autism is a part of daily life for 2.8 million people.
Autism doesn't just affect children. Autistic children grow up to be autistic adults.
Autism is a hidden disability – you can't always tell if someone is autistic.
This is where AutismAble come in, we started in March 2015 with a social evening group and grew, we provide support for educational and employment opportunities to people with Autism and Learning Differences.
One of our members of staff is taking on the GNR for the second year running and we all ask you for your help to donate so we can keep growing. Thank you

About the fundraiser
South Shields, United Kingdom
I have been volunteering since the beginning in March 2015 when AutismAble first started off as a small social evening group. I've seen the company grow as a whole and I'm very passionate about the work we do, that's why again I'm tackling the GNR for a second year running.
