Story
The Autism Awareness Cup is a project that runs each year in aid of Autism Awareness. We aim to run an 11 a side Football match and other events in order to raise funds for a charity or organisation of our choosing in 2019, following the lack of 2018 events. Since we started in 2016 we have raised over £1,200 for NAS West Norfolk, this money has been used to book activities and workshops for Autistic people to have fun, socialise and live their lives in a judge free enviornment. The money has gone towards things such as soft play centres, trampoline parks, gymnasiums, roller skating and cinema viewings exclusive to National Autistic Society members.
From now we are raising money for Churchill Park School for children with complex needs and disabilities. We are not funded and often Grant (project leader) pays for things out of his own pocket. We would be very thankful for donations that can help to cover equipment, services, venue, insuarance etc. NO MONEY IS EVER TAKEN BY ANYONE ASSOCIATED WITH THE PROJECT. ALL ARE VOLUNTEERS. Money made from/at events will go to Churchill Park.
We attract attention from lots of companies and media outlets yet always struggle to find financial help.
