The American Dream

My name is Naomi, and I am sister and primary carer to my Autistic brother Guy.

He is an incredibly sweet and sensitive individual who has often struggled with the difficulties his Autism brings.

Despite enjoying new things, he will often retreat into his comfort zone of animation, and computer games when things get too tough (his Nintendo 3DS is never far away).

However...since I can remember he has always loved all things American and has wanted to travel there for a long time. After all, most of his favorite things come from the land of the free: The Simpsons, Marvel, Star Wars, Disney, Kiss etc.

The problem...we have to primarily live off of my wages which leaves us little savings (if any) and one unexpected bill can wipe us out, so our previous holidays have ALL been funded by months and months and months of begging for grants and various other titbits.

My brother is now turning 30 and deserves to have his American Dream.

A trip to DisneyWorld would mean that he gets to enjoy most of his favorite things in an environment where he feels safe and happy.

The money we are asking for isn't the full amount but will pay for most of HIS contribution towards going.

Please help my little brothers dreams come true.
