I've raised £500 to support the running of our youth groups

Isolation and anxiety has been a real issue for the autistic community during the pandemic. Autus Cumbria has been able to help autistic young people in South Lakeland and Barrow by providing regular online groups. These have given our members a chance to talk to their peers, take part in quizzes and have fun!
I love hearing him chatting and laughing with you all. It’s a really positive thing that lifts his mood and it’s also a bit of normality for him at the moment.
Apart from close friends this group is somewhere to talk and be ourselves no matter what, no matter how chatty or quiet we are. We also get up to a lot of fun games
These groups have been a lifeline for our members and for their families and we would really like your support to continue with our good work. Although we have funding we also rely on donations from events, unfortunately these have not happened this year.
All donations will go directly to the groups to enable us to continue our clubs and to fund more activities in the new year.
